WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Comfortable and weather-compatible clothes and shoes, an umbrella just in case, some water, and snacks if needed. Add some cash for last-minute purchases and you’re good to go!

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

Rain or shine, our tours usually run. Our skilled guides do their best to outsmart the elements and make your visit enjoyable no matter the weather!

GROUP SIZES

We limit our groups to 15 people to ensure an intimate and pleasant experience for everyone. If you’d like a private tour, get in touch and let us know what you’re looking for!

TOUR DURATION

Our tours are 2 hours long, which allows you to see plenty without feeling like you’re rushing through it. If you would like a longer or shorter tour, let us know and we’ll be happy to tailor one just for you.

WHAT ABOUT LARGER GROUPS?

Would you like to set up a corporate tour? Does your party exceed the 15-person limit? No worries, click here!

ARE TOURS AVAILABLE IN OTHER LANGUAGES?

Indeed, our guides speak several languages! English, French, Spanish, Portuguese... Contact us for more information.

TIPPING YOUR GUIDE

Although our guides receive compensation, tipping is a great way to express your appreciation for their work. It also makes up a significant part of their revenue as seasonal workers.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tours are refundable up to 7 days in advance. However, service fees for online payments are never refundable.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our tours take place entirely in the city, at a moderate pace, and we do our best to adapt to our guests. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee accessibility to people who use wheelchairs or have limited mobility.

SPECIAL REQUESTS?

Would you like to visit a different neighbourhood in Montreal, book a private guide for a half or whole day, take a bike tour, a food tour, or explore a specific theme in the city? We’re up for the challenge! Shoot us a message.

PIT STOPS

Our two-hour tours don’t include a bathroom break--but fear not, our guides know their way around the city and will find a solution should nature urgently call.

KIDS AND PETS

Children under 10 years old are absolutely welcome in our groups, free of charge. And if your pet wants to see the sights, they too are welcome to join.

ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY TOURISM

The future of the planet is everyone’s business. 16/42 encourages the use of public or active transportation (metro, bus, bike, scooter, hang-glider...) to travel to our meeting point and to leave at the end of the tour. We also recommend bringing reusable water bottles.
